Is Anything Going To Done About Ginni Thomas

and her supposedly 'sponsoring' 70-80 bus fulls of insurgents to the Capitol? Her husband has been compromised by her activity for years and yet is still on the court and nothing ever gets said.

“Clarence Thomas takes aim at liberals, Joe Biden in new documentary

In a new documentary entitled: “Created Equal: Clarence Thomas in His Own Words,” he slams Democrats and particularly presidential hopeful, Joe Biden, for the way he was treated during his 1991 confirmation hearings.”

However, that said..she has a long history of supporting right wing extremists as her tweets on the day of are a good example. It is a question of whether she passed over cash or it was through her participation as a board member of CNP Action. INteresting that her messages of love for the day's proceedings have all been taken down. But there are claims of this being an antifa action by those on the right who now don't want to own the storming of the Capitol.

“It has been reported from numerous sources that Ginni Thomas, wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, sponsored 80 busloads of “protesters” to Wednesday’s insurrection at the Capitol. Let’s say each bus held 30 people. That’s over 2,000 individuals. This is in addition to promulgating the lies about Donald Trump’s “stolen election” through her social media up to and including the morning of Wednesday’s insurrection. What’s the likelihood that any one of those 2,400 individuals participated in the seditious attempt at overthrowing our government? Of course, Mrs. Thomas has since deleted the relevant social media posts, but they were already captured."

“On Facebook, Mrs. Thomas expressed explicit love for the violent chaos carried out by supporters of outgoing President Donald Trump, who are against the confirmation of President-elect Joe Biden. Mark Joseph Stern, a staff writer at Slate, shared screenshots of the status updates on Twitter.

In one post, she shared “LOVE” to the MAGA crowd, offering support and suggesting others to tune in to the riot. In another Facebook status, she stated, in mostly all caps, “God bless each of you standing up or praying!
On the morning of Jan. 6, Ginni Thomas—wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas—endorsed the protest demanding that Congress overturn the election, then sent her “LOVE” to the demonstrators, who violently overtook the Capitol several hours later. She has not posted since.”

but you also realize that most of the people on this string don't want to hear it!?

Sometimes we kind of let our feelings get in the way of rational assessment. The short answer to the question posed in the OP -- is not a lot, and most likely nothing. The Thomases have been openly despised for their rabid right wing views for years and years. (particularly Mrs.) Censure and disdain hasn't bothered them a bit up to this point. And a good argument can be made that Ginni's views have become almost mainstream in the Republican Party. There's no reason to assume that Ginni Thomas's actions up until Wed. afternoon are going to lead to any charges -- or alter substantially the place that they have held for many years.

Nobody should be held responsible for the misdeeds of their spouse.

It's important to not set a precedent that we would be uncomfortable applying to Dems. For example, what if we found out 6 months from now that Jill Biden was involved with Qanon (yes, ridiculous, but just to make a point)? Would we demand the resignation or impeachment of Pres. Joe Biden?

Not automatically. Only if he knew about her committing a crime and kept quiet or was in any way involved himself with a terrorist organization. The same should hold true for people we find to be reprehensible, like Clarence Thomas. If there is any evidence that he is involved or that he kept quiet about her doing something illegal, then yes. Otherwise, no.

Sure so many of these people looked like raggedy-ass misfits, but there was a lot of money behind this this besides the buses. There was that funding for the robocalls reminding the participants paid for by real Republicans. On Reverend Al's show he brought up the interesting thing about the bond that his organization has to post before any march or other event to ensure that helps pay for blocking off roads, etc. Did the insurrectionists have to post a bond and if not, why not. In addition to all the work congress has to do, there have to be hearings finding out some of these answers and more of the people behind it have to be named and shamed to prevent future events.
