I assume his visit to Alamo Texas to celebrate his building the border wall is an excuse to throw a huge rally.
Wouldn't it be nice if no one showed up?

(22,876 posts)It's in the Rio Grande Valley, near McAllen, which is very close to the border. Makes sense as a place for him to holy a rally to celebrate the so-called wall. (To the extent that a Trump rally ever makes any sense, which is pretty much never.)

(34,852 posts)I assume Ken Paxton will be following him around asking for a pardon.
I don't think it's gonna be a party...He's escaping DC..He's never really had a rally or party in the Valley because he's more likely to attract protestors than fans. Especially the wall stuff. Friends are already contacting each other to go protest. (And I live like 220 miles away..LOL)
Republicans will show up. I bet it will be a group of about 50 or so. The gov, the Lt gov, AG, Tony Gonzales, other republicans, maybe the Democratic congressmen down there (3 of them, because the wall is in their district) Maybe Cruz and Cornyn, but Cruz never goes to the Valley and Cornyn is no longer on Trump's good side, so I don't think he will show up. He will be taking a helicopter from Harlingen to McAllen. I'm sure he's gonna survey his big beautiful wall.
