Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsHas anyone seen people still wearing MAGA hats in public?
As far as I'm concerned, anyone still wearing a MAGA hat might as well be wearing a swastika. Having said that, I'd advise everyone to stay away from such people. They are either crazy, or hopelessly/helplessly stupid.
And if you feel you have to do something about it, remember that you are the one who will be charged with assault.

(11,780 posts)I did see a pickup with flags the other day though I didnt notice what kind. I see a pickup with flags I just assume they are Trumpers. Makes me sick to see them flying a US flag when they are obviously traitors.
Cyrano
(15,388 posts)and I've always assumed they're Trumpers. True patriots don't have a need to wrap themselves in flags like a pig in a blanket.

(6,477 posts)I'm in Chicago. I have NEVER seen anybody wearing a MAGA hat in person at all, except one time when we went to Door County (Wisconsin) for a weekend and we saw some guy walking through a park to the beach with one. Literally never. Not once in the five years they've been around. NEVER.

(4,926 posts)magat neighbor still has flag up under American flag...
STILL! Just checked.
And I have seen plenty of trump swag around here. Not as bad as Central Il where they drive around with flags off their pickup trucks.
And line their properties with flags and other trump cult symbols.

(6,477 posts)I only ever saw one Trump lawn sign, and that was in 2016, and way out west in like Norwood Park or whatever that neighborhood is way out by the airport. Not a flag or lawn sign at all this cycle. Literally not one.

(4,926 posts)they swarm all over nextdoor spouting their nonsense.
The new nonsense is the end of the police as we know it prop being spread by the FOP leader... HB 0163.
It seems the more nonsensical it is the more they believe it. And they don't need no facts, their opinions are their facts.

(8,452 posts)My son's hockey team all kinds of maggots. Very outspoken. I assume those that don't join are Dems (I never speak about politics at youth sports). The coach's son always wears maga shit (though he has stopped since Dump lost). There is a parent/grandparent who shows up at games sometimes, don't know which kid, ALWAYS wearing Trump shit. First time I saw him his hat inspired fellow Trumpist nimrods to celebrate with him. That game, one of our first games turned into FoxNews in the stands people loud and political, brash outwardly bashing Democrats. Me and a good number of other parents just sit there, probably in disbelief. But these people are "on fire" their BP is up and They will RESIST. There are new signs up in my area (a Blue area outside of Pittsburgh), the hats and flags will fly high. Even if Pelosi had been murdered they'd explain it away and Trump will still be considered the "greatest President Ever".
Joe Biden has to work with these fools.

(10,440 posts)ST. PETERSBURG Around 11 a.m. Saturday, there were about eight cars gathered on 4th Street North, just before the Howard Frankland Bridge. By noon, that number had grown to around 20 cars, many of them decked out with flags to support President Donald Trump and America.
The Tampa Bay Trump Train supporters gathered to wave flags and drive across the region, in support of Trumps presidency. It was less than two weeks before the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden and three days after Trumps supporters stormed the Capitol Building while Congress certified the election. Another Trump Train event had been scheduled in Bradenton, but was canceled after a threat, according to one attendee who declined to give his name.

(4,716 posts)that I have not seen, in person, anyone wearing a MAGA hat - ever.
I have seen a couple of lawn signs and flags, which came down immediately after the election.
I live in Essex County NJ - pretty much liberal.

(32,354 posts)None of them, God knows, were in any way trump-supporting in nature---I just didn't want anybody at long distance seeing me in a red cap and even thinking I was demented enough to be a trump whore. Anybody stupid enough to wear a trump item of clothing from now on deserves anything bad that happens to them.

(32,354 posts)republicans have ruined my love and respect for this country. I'll obey the laws and pay my taxes and continue to vote for Democrats, but the whole love-and-respect thing is dead as a doornail, from my perspective.
