(47,423 posts)People who claim this was Sicknick are wrong. Sicknick got hit on the head with fire extinguisher. There is no fire extinguisher here.

(6,477 posts)story is true?
How? What's the source?

(47,423 posts)I don't know if one of those cops is Sicknick for sure, but a fire extinguisher did get thrown at the cops.

(6,477 posts)I'm sure many fire extinguishers were thrown. There's pictures of them lining the walls, and several pictures of insurrectionist holding fire extingiishers. But until there's a clear hearing or report, I'm going to have to view the report that he was hit by a fire extinguisher with the same skepticism that YOU yourself usually apply to unconfirmed claims.

(37,748 posts)I wonder if you'll ever supply any for your claims that a No Shirt, No Shirt No Service sigh resulted in social unrest throughout the country.
Otherwise, it could look like you hold others to a higher standard tan you hold yourself to.

(10,988 posts)They saw what looked like a fire extinguisher. The cop was first attacked at the top of the stairs and then they dragged him down.

(47,423 posts)It's a DC metro cop.

(113,958 posts)and believe me, I want them to throw the book at them. If possible extend it throughout the crowd under Felony Murder statutes.
What is Felony Murder?
Felony murder is a legal rule that expands the definition of murder. It applies when someone commits a certain kind of felony and someone else dies in the course of it. It doesnt matter whether the death was intentional or accidentalthe defendant is liable for it. The rule is usually limited to felonies that are inherently or foreseeably dangerous to human life, such as arson, rape, robbery, and burglary.

(14,371 posts)could be liable to a charge of felony murder. Every one that was in the Capitol building at the time, and certainly every one who was anywhere near Officer Sicknick.

(4,625 posts)Also, anyone who touched or hit him after he was clearly overwhelmed by the seditionists could be charged with 1st degree murder.

(20,591 posts)If you examine the position of the officer's head in relation to the granite steps, its plain to see what they did. Anyone who's seen the movie, 'American History:X' will know what I mean.
The total disregard for human life it took to do that to someone is..... I can't find the words.
blm
(114,658 posts)for murder. The bad cops probably help them do it.

(10,988 posts)The guy in the orange jacket with the teal backpack has been seen in other photos/videos. There is also a frontal face view of him. FBI will get him easy.

(7,215 posts)What is going on, how do any law enforcement that allowed this or participated in this, keep moving through the day!!!
Unless, they are dangerous domestic terrorists in our communities, right now.
I read many accounts from capital officers saying these scums flashed police badges at them, or said we're doing this for you!
The FBI needs to request a community bulletin to every police force in the country and report any officers that were in DC on January 6 th.
This goes for Fire depts also. There are reports of these people also participating.

(14,371 posts)Haul them in and question them aggressively. Charge them all with first degree assault and battery. Remember, this is a FEDERAL charge, because it occurred on federal property, even though it was a DC Metro cop. Hell, I wouldn't even be opposed to waterboarding in this case to get names of other conspirators out of them. (Granny is all out of fucks today!) IOW, throw the entire damn book at them. If they want to play big boy games, they get to face big boy charges.
