If you sincerely believed a major election was stolen by switching 5 million votes, you'd be very angry too.

But MAGAts are not entitled to their own set of facts. They've been lied to and propagandized.

Their emotions have been played by skilled propagandists. You can't reason somebody out of something they were never reasoned into.

But they ARE!!!! Kelly Anne told them so - they are ALTERNATIVE FACTS - and they've had 3 years of training to know and understand how to find them and believe in them. Hell, they're still pissed because there is not a national holiday to commemorate the famous "Bowling Green Massacre!"

If a true accounting could be done, you would likely find that Biden won Arizona and Georgia by more than the thin margins that the huge turnout produced.

I believe Donnie was "comfortable" because he knew the "fix was in - NO WAY could he lose." When he did lose I believe that HE BELIEVES that somebody cheated more than he did! And THAT is what really pushed him over the edge!

Having said that, national polling of the type you reference is a better measure of the popular vote and not the same as electoral college results.

The media that even when the progenitor of right wing media, Fox News admitted that Biden won, they turned on Fox? How is the media supposed to convince people that think the media was one of the conspirators in rigging the election, that the election was not rigged?

You don't quell irrational thinking with facts. You have to deprogram people, like they do with cult members. It is a long and systematic process and cannot be done when the right wing media continues to perpetuate the cult mentality. If facts were all that were needed, then Donald Trump would not have been elected OR, he would have been Impeached and removed from office.

What we need to look at is the whole of right wing media. These people are literally in a cult and the cult is being fed by right wing outlets on radio, television, and the internet. While those things continue to function, it will be difficult if not impossible to change people's points of view.

Despite the polls, all through the ranks, they thought they'd pull off another popular loss/electoral win.
That was their plan and were sure it would work.
Then, a much larger than expected turnout, with massive mail-in voting due to the pandemic, blew that plan away.
Since they thought their cheat was foolproof, their only excuse is someone cheated better.
But, unlike Robert Shaw in "The Sting", they didn't say " What was I supposed to do? Call him for cheating better than me in front of the others?". They said it out loud with a million watt megaphone. And, suckers bought it.

Also if you only count white voters than Biden loses. They don't think black and other non white votes should count.
