The 25th Amendment has to happen now. Donald J. Trump and his crime family are going on a tour to try to get states to secede from the United States.
Yes, thats how insane and treasonous the Trump crime family and their associates are. Theyre coming for state capitols.

Anyone who paid attention to Ukraine knows the next move is secession. Its Manaforts Kremlin playbook - he helped Putin steal Crimea from Ukraine, it was a political operation as much as a ground war.
The narrative is in place. Thats why Trump is going to Alamo, Texas.

(45 posts)If I read the SS website correctly, they would no longer be US citizens, they forfeit these benefits. Ex-Pats are a different category. Also they would lose any military installations, unless they pay for part of the upkeep, vis-a-vis Germany, Italy, etc. Take care of their own infrastructure, forestry service, and all those other socialist benefits. I dont think they would like that.

(5,706 posts)No USPS, no interstate banking, no interstate highway system, possibly needing a passport to travel back, and you know those anti-maskers won't have vaccination certificates.

(45 posts)Would have to be put in place for each state or, if they merge, country. It gets tricky about the taxes part.

(4,858 posts)...and it still seems unlikely. But after the events of the past week...who knows what these traitors are capable of. I still think it likelier that Trump and his hellspawn are just trying to stir up shit, seeing if any of it sticks anywhere.

(28,836 posts)Later in the thread she says, "Anyone who paid attention to Ukraine knows the next move is secession."
If that's her idea of deductive reasoning, I'm not buying it, tons of followers or no.
If that's her only reasoning, it's not worth the pixels it's printed on.

(28,836 posts)Trump is going to Alamo to get more wall built.
If he's looking for states to secede, Texas isn't a good target. Polls rarely show more than 20% of voters want to secede. One can get 20% of the public to support anything.
I'm curious where she's getting this info. Sounds a bit fishy, to be honest.
She also misuses the word treason, but then, so does just about everyone.

(28,836 posts)She says later in the thread that secession is the next step because of Ukraine.
If that's her only basis for the statement, it's not worth taking seriously. It doesn't even make sense.

5. Oklahoma (Imhoffland)

(8,159 posts)in Northern California... it's been a "thing" for quite a while but ramped up exponentially past a few years. Back in the day because internal issues within the state, the idea of dividing the state in to two was desirous from my point of view because of water conservation issues.. Battling with Southern Californians over water conversation and all of the ancillary policy issues associated with it.. But hey, we didn't live in fantasy land on the idea.
But this past year, chatter on my local Nextdoor discussion boards grew into something more than just chatter.

(8,159 posts)This is a piece that I have to spend more time than I have at the moment, but bookmarking. This is quite a revelation to me.. Possibly should be posted on next-door, but I believe it will be taken down as too political. We'll see. Again, thanks reading the first few paragraphs is a startling wake up call.

(5,624 posts)Id probably say something because it would be on topic, wouldnt it? The issue is already political. I know Next Door skews conservative but having a post taken down is still worth the try to educate on this.
There are some good in-depth pieces on the Russian involvement.
