(4,319 posts)I was listening to a webinar course that Yale offers run by a young woman on Happiness or the Science of Well-Being and she was talking about a high salary being a main goal for people and she said that all of you (about 20 Yale students), will be making over $50,000 a year, so you won't have a problem with getting basic needs met. I just thought, this course is not for me, geared to 20-somethings who want to make $100,000 a year.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
