Anyone who gets in the way of swift consequences of the insurrection is a traitor

This is about as dangerous a situation as it gets for the nation, and if our democratic government falls and many more people die (and for everyone that dies because of Trump's dictatorship in the potential future), it will be in part for everyone that got in the way of swift consequences for the insurrectionists. This is pure treason and emboldens all of our enemies if anyone gets in the way of swift consequences of insurrectionists.

Tempers are waning, but ACCOUNTABILITY FOR EVERYONE THAT AIDED OR TOOK PART MUST HAPPEN.

It would be dangerous to do any less.

They were already intitiled to do this, it would happen again. The only question would be where and when?

All the law enforcement and military should have prison time, no favors...I see them as a bigger threat than buba with a gun and half a brain cell.

But let's let law enforcement and the security apparatus do its job of protecting the Capitol. As for consequences, I'm more of the school of letting the wheels of justice grinding slowly but exceedingly fine, and building the best cases possible against the miscreants. We can start with some of the more obvious ones, starting small and building up to more serious charges as the evidence is developed. This also has the advantage of making other participants nervous about whether their presence in the building that day was noticed.
