I'm not a scholar in "censuring." What, if anything, does it achieve?

My concept...without writing a term paper on it...is that it's like a demerit in school or time in the penalty box in hockey.

Is there any lasting impact or significance, or is it a tiny slap on the wrist?

It's like when you were in middle school and you got caught smoking in the boys' room and sent to the principal, who tells you that your misbehavior will be noted in your Permanent Record.

You cannot shame the shameless, so it does nothing to a Republican.

About censuring him. But no. Starr had worked for how long? , two years, flitting from issue to issue until Clinton lied and the GOP had something to go with. So now, with the most corrupt president in history, and a fascist, to boot, who literally tried to destroy the govt, they want a censure for Trump, but they wanted impeachment for Clinton. No.

Impeached

Lost popular vote twice

Incited insurrection

Censure

He’d celebrate. Impeach and remove.
