GOP sources say if McConnell supports conviction , Trump will be convicted

?s=21

Several GOP sources say tonight that if McConnell supports conviction, Trump almost certainly will be convicted by 67 senators in impeachment trial.

"If Mitch is a yes, he's done," said one Senate Republican who asked to be named. Many Rs are staying mum

He could still be impeached and disqualified, but if he resigns first, the vote in the Senate may fall short - that would be the deal.

Also, I think he has screwed up the Pence pardons.

to the attempted Coup. They wouldn't give an inch during the Obama administration. They were silent when rubber bullets and chemical agents were used on peaceful BLM protesters and their allies for a Bible wielding opportunist's photo-op.
They were silent when babies were locked in cages. They supported, praised, lauded and bent over for the current occupant. They were silent over voter suppression, the attempted take-down of the US Postal Service. Not a word was said when it was discovered Russia put a bounty on our troops.

It is now, after the failed coup attempt that they care to be seen in a new light.

Now, as with the RW media, we will see a re-branding because a proper parasite never kills its host. It keeps life just a certain way so it can continue to feed.

Republicans walk in lock-step, like stormtroopers.
McConnell leads them and they will do whatever he says.

I’ll believe that Mitch McConnell supports impeachment when the Senate vote crests 67 to convict. Otherwise it’s typical Republican deception on their part and wishful on ours.
