Will Trump resign tomorrow?

Once he sees the writing on the wall?

Once he realizes that he is going to lose the vote in the Senate, will he be looking to make a deal?

For the first time in almost 5 years, he will probably "act" presidential. He will be a martyr. He will be a victim.

He will be gone.

In seppuku, the samurai who is offing himself generally has a retainer standing by the finish the job in case he becomes incapacitated by his injuries mid-suicide. I'm imagining a large crowd of former associates lining up to volunteer for the job.

For now, I see people like Mitch today just giving the OK to House Republicans that voting for impeachment is OK (He won't attack them).

But who knows? Perhaps the Congress members have been briefed and they know things we don't know yet.

His whole stupid thesis now is "fight for Trump". Seems like about 30% of Americans will follow that anywhere he goes with it. The only way he loses it is if he gives up. I don't think he resigns period because then he can't blame everyone else for whatever happens.

If he is going to resign it will be in the last day or two. He will push it right up to the end or just screw himself out of his psychotic pride.

However at this point I'm not so sure that Pence is willing to do that. Chump tried to have him killed 6 days ago, why should he get a pardon ... for any reason?

If Pence doesn't agree to give him the pardon, I don't think Chump will resign.

He's given up on many lawsuits and settled. He's quit on two marriages. He quit on the American people. The list could go on for quite a while.

The thing about Trump is he doesn’t like losing or being seen as weak. Which is why he did the photo op after the COVID infection. Honestly it’s why he won’t admit he lost fairly, well one of the reasons.

Trump doesn’t have a way out and there is no graceful option for him.
