OMG... her face! Her lips! They pulled her out of the mold before the gel had finished hardening. What a trainwreck she is!
Here's a photo of the late Pete Burns... I think this is a preview of what's to come as soon as she gets her prenup settlement.

(11,767 posts)For some reason, there are many people (men primarily) who are turned on by the idea of women posing with gun while wearing skimpy clothing, or in Palin's case, women with what could be termed objectively attractive features, who love guns.
I have not above the visual attraction of attractive women, but I have never understood the mixture of women and guns being a turn on. Then again, I have never understood the "sexiness" that many in gun culture find in the guns themselves. I may be a minority in this experience.
Melania may have been attractive at one point in her life. Obviously, she was a model so, someone saw attractiveness there. With her obvious surgical enhancements and her horrific personality and values, there is no attractiveness at all. In my own experience, you can meet standards of attractiveness that are widely held in society, but be such a horrible person, that the physical attractiveness is severely diminished. Melania would be an example of that for me.

Even so, her post was confirmation that the "FAKE NEWS MSM" would have been correct.
Why did she even feel motivated to disclose such information when cowering during a siege?
Was she trying to redirect the mob to look somewhere else to get Pelosi, or was it more self-serving(out of fear)?

(13,460 posts)Write letters to the editor of your major newspapers and to the head of the Republican Party in your state. Then keep writing letters. Write an opinion piece on insurrection and the duty that members of Congress have to uphold the Constitution, citing her failure to do just that and calling for her to resign.
I tried to find out whether I could start a citizens recall petition on Ted Cruz but evidently there is no such mechanism for members of Congress. Im thinking of starting a petition demanding he resign on change.org, but Ive never seen most of those petitions go anywhere.
We citizens seem to have little recourse when an elected official commits acts like theseother than being the squeaky wheel.

(17,432 posts)I forgot to ask for her resignation explicitly, but I did wonder why the FBI had not already picked her up as a leader of the insurrection, so I guess that was understood, sort of.

(23,128 posts)The side against our country. If any of these people were either in the mob that invaded, or in any way from her passed information to people who were in the mob, she is complicit. She allegedly texted where Nancy Pelosi was or wasn't. Because of her link to qanon, this woman believes who knows what about other people in the House Chamber, the Senate and soon, the administration. How long can a war between outrageous lies and sanity go on her her head before she decides to be judge, jury and executioner in the Chamber? She is defiant about having her gun and she is a clear and present danger to her co-workers. She is a time-bomb abd she needs to be expelled now. She can be investigated and maybe go through a vetting process from a place removed from the Capitol Building.

(1,971 posts)This is from July 1st of last year story.
It is damning, but false stories give these people wiggle room.
I think she still needs to be investigated and questioned by the FBI as having associated with these people.
The house also needs to make clear what the rules are for having a weapon, and enforce those.
finally, Congressperson or not, the commercial implies that she was carrying a weapon in DC. Is that not illegal in the entire city? Should not the metro police stop and check her for a weapon and arrest her if she has an illegal weapon? I though no one was above the law.

These people need to be held accountable for their speech, and their actions, she also tweeted about this being 1776 the day of the attack and so on

Per @emaulbetsch of @COTimesRecorder, whose article includes the photo, its from a right-wing extremist rally at the Colorado State Capitol in Dec 2019 where @laurenboebert appeared with the Three Percenters, an anti-government militia, and @PatrickForCO.

It's obvious Lauren Boebert is deeply involved with RW extremists, she is dangerous, and she appears to be involved in what happened Jan 6 at the Capitol. Whether she is the one who conducted the 'tours' is unknown, and this particular photo is unrelated. I have no doubt we're going to find out that Boebert was in it up to her neck, but it's important to keep the facts straight.
