he has been so heartbroken the last week as he views the changes in the capitol (militarization). Yes he can be a bit repetitive but he gives me security. In a strange way I guess Ive grown up with him.

(64,852 posts)I know folks don't like his uber down the middle approach. I get that, as it does add credibility to crazy & lying.
But, at least since the pandemic, he has taken a position as a CITIZEN and is less willing to let crazy stand.
I've noticed they're much more selective, increasingly over time, of who they let on from the crazy brigade.
He's closing in on retirement and I think he wants to be remembered as a true journalist.
