(20,677 posts)4. All of it.
Conviction does not come with perks. Secret Service protection, maybe. But not for the kids.

(78,208 posts)5. But he loses this only if convicted while in office?

(18,486 posts)9. His SS is separate from his other benefits
He gets to keep his lifetime Secret Service protection even if he's convicted and removed.

(18,486 posts)8. He doesn't necessarily get that amount for travel
GSA is authorized to pay up to that amount, but doesn't have to.

(78,208 posts)10. Glad to hear! ZERO is what he deserves!
Ps - I would never object for the Obamas, of course. The thought of dump flying to moscow on our tax $ is infuriating!

(18,486 posts)7. Only if he's removed from office through impeachment
So, if he's not convicted and removed by noon next Wednesday, he keeps his pension.

And most of America thinks the same!
