There are 'Nazis' in Congress, says former Republican leader John Boehner

Former Republican Leader of the House John Boehner has claimed there are “Nazis” serving in Congress

“We’ve got some of the smartest people in America who serve in the Congress, and we’ve got some of the dumbest”, Mr Boehner said. “We have some of the nicest people you’d ever want to meet, and some that are Nazis”.

SNIP

After presiding over a caucus fractured by the rise of the Tea Party, which propelled multiple challenges to his leadership, Mr Boehner ultimately stepped down. He has since become a critic of Donald Trump, whom he described as a “populist” without “an ideological bone in his body”, but he said Mr Trump is not prejudiced...

This article is from 2017 & although it has some truths, it hasn't aged well. TRUMP ISN"T PREJUDICED??? What the Actual fuck? This is the f*cking problem. Not admitting that this idiot is the core of the problem of the racist, pointy headed, knuckle-dragging mouthbreathers. This pisses me off because THEY ALL KNEW what the hell Oragina McDollHands was & here we are, 4 years later dealing with something that hasn't happened in almost 220 years...There needs to be criminal charges against the latest iteration of the GOP & what forced them to march in lockstep, not to mention WALKING THE TREASONOUS INSURRECTIONISTS THROUGH TH CAPITOL IN WHAT IS LOOKING LIKE A DRY RUN. Once again, TF is wrong with these people who screeched to high heaven about people peacefully taking a knee for human rights but went on to use that same symbol of liberty & valor to BEAT S POLICEMAN TO DEATH! HYPOCRISY, thy name is GOP.

1. Actually, if you take where the expression "Nazi" came from, he is dead on accurate

The NSDAP, Hitler's "national socialists," starts out in German with the word "National." In German, this is pronounced "nah-tsee oh-NAHL." The spelling of the word is actually French. Like all Europeans, the Germans love their abbreviations. "Nah-tess-oh-nahl-zo-tsee-ah-list" is cumbersome, so they just used the first two syllables of the word "national," but spelled it in German. In German, the "z" is pronounced like the English "ts." So "National," pronounced "nah-tsee-oh-NAHL," was shortened to "Nah-tsee," and spelled the German way.

And Bonehead nails them when he recognizes them as fanatical nationalists. They just make up their own version of America, and what it means to be American (i.e. they are, and everyone else is not). They even think they speak "American," when what they speak is really European. American languages are Lakota, Navajo, Hopi, Seminole, Nahuatl, Cherokee, and a LOT of etc. England is located in Europe, although it is probably a stretch to think they would know where anything is on a map.

5. Some of these people who call themselves conservative nowadays --

and they really aren't -- try to use the Socialist part of the National Socialists to disparage Democrats. Their logic is that since Democrats are socialists, a fallacy, then the Democrats are just like Nazis. Rush Limbaugh calls feminists "feminazis" and the idiots eat it right up. That kind of logic is just one example of the state of critical thinking in America.

7. Republicans, especially (but not exclusively) hijack labels for their own convenience.

It doesn't make them accurate.

They can call themselves "conservative" all they want. They can call themselves armadillos, too. It doesn't make them either.

3. Boehner wisely escaped.

It blew my mind at the time, observing the right-wing propaganda cult reject him for no longer meeting their "purity" standards, especially after he'd been extremely loyal to the GOP which had already become more insane. Just not enough for them, obviously!

The propagandists run their party now, not the elected representatives.

4. Not "predjudiced" in the traditional sense. He's a narcisist who cares about NO ONE but himself.

He is USING EVERYONE equally to promote himself.

He doesn't care about their cause, he just knows he can manipulate them.

He isn't any more concerned about any of his "beloved" rioters getting shot than policemen who get beat to death by them.

He wants power, there is a group angry enough and stupid enough to give it to him.

9. I totally agree his behaviour is completely racist. He uses racism to inflame the cult.

What I am talking about is the mind of a narcissistic psychopath.

It doesn't change what he has done, but it is HOW he BELIEVES his OWN LIES.

He TRULY cares about NO ONE.

IF supporting BLM got him this kind of power, he would abandon whites like garbage. Well, he does any way. DID he walk with them?

Look how he treats his family. He gives them positions of power but do you ever see ANY moments of kindness between them?

He cares about NO ONE but himself.

Many racists truly believe that they are better than blacks, Mexicans etc..

tRump believes he is better than EVERYONE.

11. Thanks for the links, though. I find this bullet point particularly ironic....

https://www.vox.com/2016/7/25/12270880/donald-trump-racist-racism-history

2011: While Trump suggested that Obama wasn’t born in the US, he also argued that maybe Obama wasn’t a good enough student to have gotten into Columbia or Harvard Law School, and demanded Obama release his university transcripts. Trump claimed, “I heard he was a terrible student. Terrible. How does a bad student go to Columbia and then to Harvard?”

YEAH and HOW DID HE GRADUATE MAGNA CUM LAUDE from HARVARD? He wasn't rich, so he didn't BUY that prestige.

https://www.eduinreview.com/blog/2008/10/barack-obamas-gpa-and-college-records/

(He did poorly before Harvard as he was partying and admitted that.)

Law school was another story for Obama. He graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School (the second highest honor available) in 1991. He also was the first black president of the Harvard Law Review, a very prestigious honor.

HOWEVER, if you listened to any words Obama uttered during his Presidency, you hear an adult who has thoughtfully considered what he might say before hand.

AND a personal barometer of intelligence of mine:

Someone who speaks in full sentences not sentences full of words is another indicator of someone who paid attention in class. Just a personal rule of thumb.

12. I guess what I am saying is "HE IS WORSE than your typical racist."

And many racists may be just as psychopathic, and care little for the pleebs underneath them who think it's all about the white and not about the POWER.

tRump is in that group that is ALL ABOUT THE POWER.

NO ONE in his sphere is SAFE to speak the truth.

You don't do what he tells you to, it doesn't matter what color or how special he has said you are before. You're fired.

Congress critters are admitting they or their families are in mortal danger if they vote to impeach or convict.

He DOESN'T EVEN CARE ABOUT WHITES.

He USES EVERYONE.

13. Well John, why aren't you joining the Democrats and pushing this in your social circles?

I'm sick of these ex-Republicans popping up to complain now.

Either join us and fight fascism or go back to your fucking hole.
