Not only was this planned, but I am convinced there are congress people who were part of it

(43,165 posts)One of the evening political shows tonight described it as the voice of a pta mom. Being an educator, I got a laugh out of that.
Voices carry tone, which is the emotional state of the speaker. I teach interpersonal communication and tone is considered part of nonverbal communication. In this case, the verbal portion of her speech was highly specific and controlled. The nonverbal suggested that she cared very much how this operation went. it conveyed urgency. The voice carried a sense that things were getting out of hand.

I was wondering if it could have been a Congresswoman, like maybe Lauren Boebert.

(18,967 posts)where the woman's voice said (paraphrase) "...if we're going to take this building we need to work together..."?
That tells me:
There was knowledge that there were organized groups in the entire effort.
There was an attempt to coordinate the activities of the known groups
The intent from the start was to "take the building"...for what purpose? Hostages. Blackmail? Overthrow of entire legislative branch?

(51,308 posts)Nothing funny about it, but i had to snicker because she sounded like a Cub Scout den mother. Youre going to have to coordinate if you want to take this building.
Hope they catch her.

That doesnt prove that Congressmen were in on the planning. I know several were very supportive, but we need to not become conspiracy advocates without evidence.

(5,810 posts)It starts off as this -
Whats the floor plan
.theres chatter
theres a door to the right..chatter
.we need a plan, we need enough people to push forward
lots of over talking
At about .37 of tape - Bullhorn pink hat lady-
...alright, Ive been in the other room with the chimmy
on the other room on the other side of this door right here where these ? are standing
there is a glass that is somebody it is broken, you can drop into a room underneath it and remove it, there is also two doors that, one in the rear and one to the right as you go in, so people should probably coordinate together if youre gonna take this building
chatter, another window to break to get in and out easy
.this window needs to be broken
maybe you all can view and read what I have an add to it? My hearing is not the best.
I think someone there had a floor plan and in the beginning they are trying to ask about what the floor plans shows...then the bullhorn gal tells what she knows, as she's already been in that part of the building. I keep hearing her say she'd been in the other room with the chimmy? Anyone clarify what she's saying?

(43,165 posts)We can get a lot out of that. Last year I had to transcribe some audio interviews and there is free audio transcription software available. I used it and it's good. There's also this:
Best Methods to Automatically Transcribe Audio to Text Free
Method 1. Automatically Transcribe Audio to text free in Windows PC:
Method 2. Transcribe audio to text Mac Method with Soundflower Software (Convert Audio/Video/MP3 into Text in Mac)
Method 3: Automatically transcribe audio to text in Android Smartphone

(7,604 posts)When the dust settles and the FBI is going full throttle on the investigations, there will be a number of arrests of members of Congress who are accomplices in an insurrection conspiracy.
Prediction: Boebart and Greene will resign. The Arizona and Alabama Congressional delegations will be investigated and prosecuted for conspiring to overthrow the government. This will still be a slow-motion trainwreck for the GOP. The paramilitary squads that invaded the Capitol Building will be picked apart by FBI investigators. This won't be pretty. It will be methodical and effective. I'm saying this because the FBI's time as Trump's whipping boy is coming to an end, and the investigators will be intent on redeeming themselves as a crack LEA. It's a bad time for the insurgents.
Trump's army of Congressional supporters must have imagined that their coup would be successful and that, by now, Biden's inauguration would be cancelled and Trump will have won a demand that the election be re-done or the votes would be recounted, OR, from a more destructive insurrection with more dead, Trump would just declare martial law and suspend the inauguration until he is declared the winner. They must have imagined that their insurrection was morally and legally justified, and that no consequences would ever be applied to them. Members of Congress who helped in the insurrection apparently deluded themselves into believing that they would be REWARDED for their parts in the mob violence. So we see how Trump's delusions have a contagious quality to them.

It looks to me that when these seditionists are faces with arrest that tune will be their best defense, the president instructed us.

3. C4ISR (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Evaluation) including sophisticated communications equipment

One point, during the dragging of the CP officer outside the citadel, I noticed a Calico Jack patch on the body armor carrier of one of the breachers. That patch is associated with units of NSW (Naval Special Warfare), this coupled with the identification of a Teams guy, who was part of the assault, leads me to believe that we have a real problem in the services especially SOF.

(12,217 posts)It's hard to believe members were actively aiding the riot. Not that they *wouldn't*, but more to the point of it going way outside instincts of self-preservation, and we all know those instincts are either inborn, or come in each of the orientation kits.

"What's the floor plan?" a man asks at the beginning of the video, which is filmed from inside the building. The room is crowded and chaotic.
"We need a plan. We need enough people. We need to push forward," shouts another man.
Seconds later, a woman in a pink hat and sunglasses appears in the window.
"Hey guys, I've been in the other room..." she says into a bullhorn, then proceeds to deliver detailed instructions on how to take the building.
"In the other room on the other side of this door right here where you are standing, there is a glass that somebody, if it's broken, you can drop down into a room underneath it," she says, gesturing.
