Some guy near here has a Trump sign in his yard.

Not one of those cardboard yard signs, but a wooden billboard that's about 5X7 feet. It's double sided and set up so drivers going in either direction can see it. Of course it's right out by the road so I see it a long way off down the rural road I take to my exe's house. The upscale house sits back quite a way from the road and I always wondered why an apparently successful person would be so taken in by the lies aimed at the knuckle dragging redneck drunk at the end of the bar.

I had to take my ex-wife to the doctor Wednesday so I once again drove past, noticing from a long way back that it was still there (of course) on the left side as I headed West. I had my window down a bit so I could sneak a smoke before I got to her house and for the first time saw the guy walking back up the driveway from his mail box. He had his head down shuffling through the mail when I gave him a couple friendly toots of the horn. As he turned about to wave, I had my hand thrust through the open window giving him the finger.

I instantly felt much better about spending the afternoon at the doctor's office with my ex-wife.

That speaks so loud that I can hear it here in central Texas.

We have a neighbor with one of those banner things on his driveway entry. My wife tells me to stop glaring at it. She worries about incurring the wrath of others. She's right but still I want to take a piss on it. Ah well, I can live vicariously through you.

But, I had both middle fingers extended every time I walked the neighborhood with Trump signs. Not so overtly anyone would have been likely to see me clearly doing so, since I was on foot with my beloved pup, but just doing so for my own peace of mind.

6. There is a nut like this that lives at the end of my block.

Fortunately, it is a vey long street so I only pass his house when I come in off the main road. Duding the 2016 election he had a sign out that was about 10 x 20. It was ridiculous. He has lights in his backyard, which you can see a little from the road, that light up in the image of the American Flag.
