If you are interested in the origins of Qanon

You don't need to go much further than this

https://www.iheart.com/podcast/1119-q-clearance-the-hunt-for-72308028/

You can also find it on Spotify, Apples, etc.

Another great resource

https://www.qanonanonymous.com/

However, it's not a podcast that you can really go back and listen to because it's really geared to current events. But it would be something good to pay attention to from here on to keep up on the things happening in that world.

2. Thank you for posting!

This stuff fascinates me.

A couple of months ago a DUer posted an absolutely fascinating article about Q Anon written by (I think) a game developer who broke it down. He concluded that Q Anon self-conditions followers to look for and inevitably find connections between totally unrelated things, and he wrote how at a certain point the game is self-perpetuating because human beings find pleasure (dopamine release) in locating patterns in random coincidences and finding "connections" between two things that are unrelated in any way. People who do this also feel smarter than others, who are missing what is actually going on in the world. So the game is pleasurable, addicting and self-reinforcing.

In some ways, it was a frightening article, because the reader is left to conclude that it will be very hard to stop people from tumbling into deeper and deeper layers of self-delusion. But he really explained how this is possible and why certain people are so susceptible.

I wish I had kept better track of that article. It was truly ingenious.

11. A fascinating, insightful piece

Thanks for sharing. I am going to share it with people I know. When I see these people interviewed I am stunned at their certitude. This article makes so much sense from a psychological perspective.

9. Q is basically

Nostradamus in that people go back to the drops and reassign them meaning to match what happens rather than judging them based on the context in which they were written. They also overlook things that he directly predicted that never happened or come up with some ridiculous claim that they really did happen and we just don't know it yet.

It's also important to remember that Q hasn't posted anything in months. This is a cycle of "influencers" now pushing things out to keep their own grifts going.

There is an economy built off of this. Each of these major influencers like MajorPatriot and PrayingMedic have built businesses on the back of pushing Q content to the believers. In a way, it's these people who are the most to blame for what's happening. These people actually believe the lies that they are being told and it is ruining a lot of people lives and not just because they entered the capitol and got arrested.
