I remember those quaint days when we were keeping a stranded cruise ship at sea because Trump didn't want to increase our case count by a few dozen.

I have a standing prediction that the 7-day rolling average death count will peak on Inauguration Day. I am standing by that prediction. It would create the perfect symmetry showing how things will start getting better right away under new leadership.

It's still a blow to the gut that it did.

And that's just the "official" count - without the uncounted cases that rethugs in charge refuse to report (looking at asses like governator DeathSentence of Florida, et al).

Even with the nightmare numbers lately (4000 deaths a day) the US is sliding down the deaths per million chart. Euro nations are surging up and past.

EVERY nation above the US is European, the only non euro states in the top 18 are the US and Peru.
