If this was the inside job it appears to have been, I predict we'll see some federal criminal trials

I feel for Nancy.

Must be hard to realize--even if they are Republicans--that members of the House may be involved in the Capitol riots.

If this was the inside job it appears to have been, I predict we’ll see some federal criminal trials of expelled Members of Congress for “seditious conspiracy” in violation of 18 U.S. Code § 2384 before 2022. The penalty is 20 years in prison. Watch this space.

.... trDumps coup de tat - as the naked opportunists like Senators Hawley and Cruze - or any member who voted to invalidate the electoral vote count for Biden ought to be expelled from office for their actions against the US Constitution and their support for trDump's attempted coup de tat.

You take an oath to support the Constitution if you can't honor that - get the fuck out. You don't belong in government service.
