When I moved back home to take care of my parents, I could see the change without any question.
Mold,fungus, and algae grow in places that they could never grow before. It's amazing how you can see the changes when you see how things have changed over decades.
Care Acutely
(1,370 posts)with many species of birds and insects heretofore unknown. Native species took a huge hit this year with unprecedented drought. Once healthy, well-established trees are dead in just one season. The water table has fallen so low that irrigation pumps burnt up all over the state, keeping the rural fire departments very busy. To say it is looking bleak, well . .. . .
