On October 25, 2020, Memphis Police Officers arrested him. He was charged with domestic assault with bodily harm and released on his own recognizance. He was accused of kicking in the front door of his home in Cordova, chasing his wife Kathryn Bledsoe, picking her up by her throat, and slamming her onto the floor. He was 36 years old at the time.
