New Jersey Congresswoman Bonnie Watson Coleman is on MSNBC with Tiffany Cross. She says her Covid symptoms have been like a common cold. She is now feeling better.
This is the woman who is 75 years old, a cancer survivor and was subjected to maskless REPUBLICAN ASSHOLES during the Jan 6 Capitol siege.

This needs to be accompanying the story of the Democrats getting + covids...it shows the contact tracing element...Can reinforce the need for practicing covid-19 prevention protocols.

(68,964 posts)Because your post in this thread, given its celebratory intent for a member of Congress medically assaulted by right wing Maskholes was incredibly misplaced and came across as saying the Congress woman didn't matter.

(2,194 posts)As yet little known or elucidated, may play an important role in who has an easy time with COVID, and who doesn't. This NJ congresswoman had all the standard high risk factors - age and pre-existing immuno-compromising conditions, but still, she got off relatively lightly with COVID. Conversely, others in their prime and apparently healthy, have been felled by the infection.

(3,008 posts)I am sure she has access to that), plus she had her first dose of the vaccine at the end of Dec.... so maybe those both helped?
