NEW: The FBI is investigating a claim that a PA woman who rioted at the Capitol on Jan. 6 stole a laptop from Speaker Pelosi's office and intended to sell it to the Russians.

The FBI says she appears to have fled. More about this bizarre case:

Photos show that the woman, Riley Williams, was in the Capitol near Pelosi's office during the riot.

The Capitol Building is wired thick with surveillance cameras. High resolution surveillance cameras. It's a near certainty that Riley Williams is all over the camera footage. IMO, the FBI is determining the credibility of people whom they're interviewing by comparing rioters' statements with what the FBI SEES on the video files.
