He got at least a dozen foreign agents, maybe some US agents, killed by Russia. The extent of the damage he did is enough to get him assassinated by some former agents, I bet, if he tries to walk free. Fuck, I'd take a shot at him.

He's going to pardon some of these. I put them in order of who I expect most likely to get one. He thinks being friendly with rappers helps him with black folks or at least make white people think he's not racist.

Trump won't pardon anyone who he doesn't think can help him in some way worth doing it for. It's all going to be about him.

That's why he's not going to pardon any of the insurrectionists. Doing so hurts him personally.

I have read a couple of articles on the legal and constitutional history of the pardon power and back to the English law standards on which much of that is based. Sadly, the prevailing opinion seems to be that pardon powers under the Constitution are essentially unlimited (with the possible exception of a self pardon) and NOT subject to judicial or other review. Seems a bit much but clearly the founding fathers never envisioned someone as self dealing and malevolent as Donnie Boy. I suppose we'll be lucky if all the White House silverware remains on Wednesday afternoon.

For example, taking bribes for pardons, etc.

The article in a thread I posted covers the possibility, as noted by the Congressional Research Office.

Of course, it's a little late for that.
