I've thought a lot about why he did it. It was clear in an

interview from Germany that he would go back. Moscow said he would be arrested if he did and he was.

The reality is Navalny is a dead man regardless where he lives. Maybe his calculation was he would rather fight for his cause/life in Russia than abroad, and be in Moscow's face rather than cower. He would not have had an activist life abroad and live any more than he can in Russia.

He's a remarkable man. And in this county we have legislators who cannot take a vote to impeach a President who attempted a coup.
