VP Pence is not expected to attend President Trump's sendoff at Joint Air Force Base Andrews tomorrow morning, per White House officials. He is attending the inauguration later in the day, and aides say it would be logistically challenging for the vice president to do both.

You could easily take a helicopter to Andrews, see off the subject of your non-stop bootlicking flee the jurisdiction at 8am ET, and then helicopter back to DC easily in time for the inauguration.

You just don't want to. That's the first sound decision you've made in years. Just be honest about it, rather than talking about "logistical challenges" that don't exist!
