Its no secret that Inauguration Day will look very different this year. President-elect Joe Biden and his team have encouraged their supporters to celebrate from home rather than attend the 59th Inaugural Ceremonies in Washington, andin light of security and public health concernsmany traditions will be reimagined and downsized. Unlike four years ago, the Biden-Harris team has rounded up a star-studded Inauguration performance that can be watched from the safety of home.
Americas Sweetheart, Tom Hanks, will host the Celebrating America primetime special on January 20th, giving all of us the soothing virtual hug we need right about now. The lineups for the special and the swearing-in ceremony are supremely stacked, with people we actually want to see. Here are all the celebrities set to perform at the Biden-Harris Inauguration, and what you need to know to tune into this special event.
Who will perform?
In lieu of the usual Inaugural balls that follow the days ceremonies, the televised Celebrating America special will feature performances from artists playing at different locations across the country. Among the musicians announced so far: Bruce Springsteen, John Legend, Foo Fighters, Justin Timberlake, Ant Clemons, Jon Bon Jovi, and Demi Lovato.
According to a press release cited by The New York Times, Kerry Washington and Eva Longoria will also appear, and the program will showcase the American peoples resilience, heroism, and unified commitment to coming together as a nation to heal and rebuild. Earlier in the day, at the swearing-in ceremony, Lady Gaga will sing the national anthem, along with performances by Jennifer Lopez and Garth Brooks.
In place of the afternoons customary parade to the White House, there will be a virtual Parade Across America at 3:15 p.m. Scandal star Tony Goldwyn will host the event, which will feature appearances by Jon Stewart, Earth, Wind & Fire, DJ Cassidys Pass the Mic, Andra Day, Nile Rodgers, Kathy Sledge, The Trans Chorus of Los Angeles, Olympic athletes Katie Ledecky, Nathan Chen, and Allyson Felix, and more, plus a Dance Across America led by High School Musical director-choreographer Kenny Ortega, which will include 275 participants in 30 states and two territories

And he won't be able to tweet about it! And then he'll slip awayy frome the lime light and sulk, waiting for an invite to Fox or ome of those newer R channels.

Is that Solange Knowles, or an obscure sister of Esperanza?
I absolutely cannot believe either Solange Knowles or Esperanza Spalding would be there for that.
Unless it's meant tongue-in-cheek, like goodbye asshole!

If they're doing it, I'd have to think it's cause they desperately need the money.
