A delay while at the Joint base or something that would cause him to remain on base until the magic moment of transformation at which point he could be taken into custody. And to really get into my little fantasy, I would love it if the rest of the gang were suddenly also "picked up" by the state's authorities who have charges against them.

That would make my day for a couple weeks at least.

Here's what we do: We have the Secret Service meet Trump at the airport and take him to McDonald's for a nice big bag of burgers, fries and Diet Cokes. We take him back to Mar-a-Lago and let him eat to his heart's content. For extra benefit we could get enough food to serve the entire staff out there, plus his protective detail. He stuffs himself, watches the OANN special on how wonderful his administration was, and tuck him into bed.

At 3 am Thursday, a platoon of US Marshals, Secret Service, New York state prosecutors, et al, enters Trump's room and arrests him. He'll be taken to jail in his jammies.

You can't lock him up on general vagrancy. I'm sure a whizbang wheeler dealer will have no trouble negotiating with his Mar A Lago neighbors to let him stay there. So there's always the formality of, you know, actual charges being brought, witnesses being deposed, lawyers doing all their delays and motions, and of course an actual trial after he's spent zillions on legal fees.

I'm happy to see the boy twist in the wind and burn through some of that grifted "campaign" donations, although he might be flight risk enough to be put on a no fly list for international flights. Trump's in for a very uncomfortable life over the next few years. If only he knew of a place he could get some nice soft pillows at a discount price.
