Those frames aren't cheap. They were obviously custom made for that wall and to match the banister. Ever have a custom frame that size made at Michael's? Multiply that by 9 frames and you've got grand theft.

Trump had no use for a White House photographer, he did not want any candid photos taken, for obvious reasons. I remember Souza noting that the current White House photographer isn't allowed to roam the White House like he did, she is only called in when they want to do a staged photo shoot.

I'm sure Trump had them hanging there with something in them, since the nails are still there. They just could not be bothered to remove their photos from the nice frames, so they took them.

The deep cleaning doesn't start until Trump departs the White House.

"A deep clean between presidents is usually carried out by White House staff in the six-hour slot when both the incoming and outgoing presidents are at the inauguration ceremony." https://news.yahoo.com/us-government-spend-500-000-162704097.html

And Trump's not leaving until tomorrow morning at 8 am.

You think they can move everything AND deep clean in six hours? I mean, I'm sure they're good and all, but they are probably prepping ahead of time. And also, you quotation says "usually."

There is no indication that any cleaning had started while Trump was in the residence, especially since it is normally not started until the outgoing president departs the residence, so as to not disturb the outgoing president. Trump was offering Biden no courtesies. Why are you insisting he did, when all evidence indicates he didn't? Trump wouldn't even let Biden have a government pland to come to the Capitol. https://www.tmz.com/2021/01/19/joe-biden-isnt-getting-government-plane-to-fly-him-to-d-c-inauguration/

There were some photos released the other day of Navarro walking away with one of them. Yes, they belong to the government, and they shouldn't have taken them. But we're not talking an Ansel Adams collection here.

Plus, any object from the government collections that are lent out are logged. If someone decides to take even a mildly important piece, they could be on their way to a felony.

Al Capone went to jail for tax evasion. If we can lock up Trump or Steven Miller or any of those other White House miscreants for stealing government property, why would we not do that?
