I'm elated, grateful and even hopeful again. May Trump be nothing more than a chronic boil on the ass of the GOP from tomorrow forward. They deserve it and the rest of us need some peace.

We knew with normalcy came all kinds of good things.. moving us Forward Not "backwards"! No no no.. always moving forward.. not with slogans but with Pragmatic Progress.
Love to you, Cats💙 It's been a wild journey on this long road to tomorrow. And, the beginning of another path called Fighting for a Stronger Democracy.
After we saved ourselves from the next 4 years of more deadly fascism.. We are all to be Congratulated!

(19,567 posts)We dealt with so much from all facets, yet we prevailed and won. Overwhelmingly, so. We were the vast majority in this pivotal and extremely important election cycle. I'm proud to say I was "riding with Biden" before it was cool!
I'm thrilled to see the most diverse cabinet taking shape in American history, not to mention what is about to be yet another platform which furthers our ultimate goals. Except, perhaps even more so this time, it seems. I'm excited to see where we are 4 years from now!
We took a gut punch these past 4 years. It's been hard on all of us, but better days will be on our horizon!

(297,587 posts)But like you say about "gut punches".. we've had so many horrible, shocking, life altering tragedies happen.. personal & Nation wide, especially this year.. that it's glorious to Experience a Positive Live Altering Development!

Lord knows Psaki could be in a coma and do better than Trump's people, but I hope she's well received and does well. I look forward to it.
