But where were the adult children, toadies, and sycophants???

Haven’t we learned anything from our recent history??

And where were the lies, the self-aggrandizement, and the little hands???

Does this mean I will no longer awaken to thoughts of, “I wonder what the latest outrage is?”???

In the words of my heroine, “Ohhh! You cursed [democracy]! Look what you've done! I'm melting! Melting! Oh, what a world! What a world! Who would have thought a good [electorate] like you could destroy my beautiful wickedness! Ohhh! Look out! Look out! I'm going! Ohhhh - Ohhhhhhhhhh!”
