Normally we would have taken (or not taken) the Senate on January 3rd. Here we had runoff elections so we don't actually take the Senate until today.

She spoke for the rest of us apparently. Same here i was very relieved during that time, same as when the Obamas walks during their inauguration as well.

Everything was just beautiful at the Inauguration. And I was absolutely stunned by Michelle Obama's purple suit. I'm not a fashionista, but that was the coolest outfit I've seen in a long time and she rocked the hell out of it. Not to mention how great Madam VP and Dr. Biden looked as well. I know that's superficial, but it was just icing on the huge celebration cake.

I'm working from home so will do a more in-depth look at the Inauguration Day celebrations when I'm done. Those 3 ladie's outfits caught my eye (along with Lady Gaga's).

I now have a sense of calm that has escaped me for some time.

The adults are back in charge. Qanon is dazed and confused, and the people who have sworn that Biden would never enter office have been slam-dunked. Biden is working to de-Trump policies and Harris is swearing in new Democrats.

It was a good day for America.

All of the people that did not want a peaceful transfer of power. The deniers that Biden would ever assume the office, the haters that though they could bully their way around the Constitution, The Q bunch, White Supremist under which ever banner they follow, are in shock. Many of them are arriving at the conclusion that they have been lied to and played for suckers.

I know I should be above such feelings, but after four years, I am taking pleasure in their discomfort.

And oust all the GOP traitors in the House and Senate. The videos of the Capitol invasion should be useful in every campaign. They own it. Not too early to start hammering away.
