She is in San Diego.
Qualified due to age and health issues.
She had to go to a major university hospital to get the shot but said there was little waiting involved
Said her arm was sore for about an hour but that is the only problem she had.
I am in New Mexico and on the state registry for a shot.
I am 74 with health issues but I do not know when I will be eligible for a shot.
Nor do I know where I will have to go to get the shot.
My primary care doctor thought that their clinic would have them at some point.
My pharmacy (Rite Aid) thinks they may become available at sometime at Walgreens.
I'm trying to just stay home until I get the vaccine.

Also, I put myself on a list at a large
university hospital last week.

(34,195 posts)they have a state registry where I am registered and they will notify me when it is my turn to get a shot and where to get the shot.
Right now they are giving them to people over 75 and I am 74.
So I wait.
