(20,200 posts)I'm into an opioid contract with my pain and symptom management Doctor. I take methadone for a botched spinal fusion, and have to give a urine sample before every visit, which can vary from one to three months. Any street drugs, other banned prescription drugs, or even alcohol means the contract is broken and they write no more prescriptions for me.
If Biden legalizes marijuana, or just decriminalizes it, I'd be able to use pot medically in New York state. Then I'll be smoking a nice medicinal Indica, laying back on my couch or recliner, and dealing with the pain in a more efficient manner.

Gratitude. Gratitude. Gratitude.
(Id been saving it to share with my sis, who lives across the continent from me, but with the pandemic and whatnot, it looks like years more before we meet again and it would be a damn shame if the precious liquid were to evaporate in the cupboard all by itself.)

(12,781 posts)...A good friend of mine turned me onto Islay Scotch Whiskey, and now it's pretty much the only thing I drink. Which kinda sucks because they're all pretty expensive. Which in turn means, I don't get to drink Whiskey very often. If I really get a craving, but don't have any Islay around, I'll "slum" it a bit and have some Bourbon. Usually Buffalo Trace. Neat.
