1. Amazing things can happen when humans work with, rather than against, Nature!

I have long had this feeling that Joe will be like a modern era FDR with job creation through retraining programs with an eye toward renewable energy!

An example would be coal miners in WV being trained to erect & maintain windmills & solar projects. Who wouldn't rather earn a living wage without contracting black lung?

I think this is quite doable, although the difficult part, of course, will be repuke resistance & them taking credit when such programs are successful.

This is in no way connected to the Green New Deal. I've not read it & have little knowledge of it.

2. The creation of a program like...

The Civilian Conservation Corps that in the 1930-40’s may be a good idea. Put the unemployed to work upgrading our infrastructure and putting alternative energy projects in the mix.

Things are going to be changed due to the pandemic, some jobs may be changed or eliminated. This could be a two for one win, get people to work upping the economy and modernize the infrastructure.
