(15,700 posts)If anything, events like those happening since Nov 2020 demonstrate that legal education accreditation and criteria need to be completely revamped.
So many lawyers betrayed their own oaths. Or never understood them in the first place.

I think some lawyers believe they are above the law and ethics because they think they can bully other people by threatening legal action.
And can manipulate the legal system? I have had personal experience with this type of lawyer.

You may also note he was fired by the insurance company he worked for when they saw his tweets. Stupid is......

(8,386 posts)This guy actually went to law school. I read most of the Salon.com article, and I lost brain cells from trying to follow the logic.
I think Ill sue him for $8 zillion dollars as compensation.

(77,270 posts)It's actually easy to cheat one's way through classes.
The bigger the class, the easier it would be, I'd think. Harder to monitor 60 people in an exam than 15.
There are a lot of these "lawyers" I suspect snuck through school. Coulter, Giulianni, Powell, et al come to mind.
Their transcripts are complete, but how much they learned is open to question.

(19,221 posts)i hereby announce that I am filing suits on behalf of Yale, Stanford, Harvard, and all other legitimate law schools in the country, demanding that these asscarrots stop mentioning their names in word, print, or neon lights. it's past the point of embarrassment, it's losing them money.
We also request that the court award $20 zillion in compensatory damages, to be administered and proportioned by my office.
