I'm signed up on like 15 lists for my vaccine...I'm 1a and have four...count 'em four predisposing issues which are of concern if I were to contract COVID-19. i see about 60 people a day in my practice and have been looking for an appointment. As an aside, my own doctor called me two weeks ago asking me if I knew anywhere he could get a vaccine, that's how disorganized things are here in Philly.

So I'm deleting my emails for the week and I see one with a title:

For some reason, I opened it and lo and behold it was an invitation to attend the Phila Convention Center for a vaccine...TODAY, 9:30-12:30. I opened it...no lie, at 12:29. Of course the irony, right...not that i could drive 60 miles in 60 seconds, but you get the idea. If the title had been VACCINE or APPT FOR VACCINE i'd have seen it among the 350 or so emails I receive in a day. But noooooooo.......

Sissy dood crap. And yes...it's my own damn fault for not assuming that everything is totally fucked up.

2. It's pretty much the same here

I’m only signed up for 2 but those are the ones I’ve found to sign up, and that is only the preliminary sign up, waiting to get the next step ...
1 more is at local hospital, but they only give msg ‘no appts available now’ check back later ...
The local news on Friday said 500 vacs were available 3 hours from me, 1st come 1st served, while everyone who’s anyone says “stay home” don’t travel etc

3. Perhaps create a filter in your email that will highlight any emails containing specific phrases?

So, you'd at least get a clue. That is pretty bad. Right up there with sending stimulus $ in phony looking envelopes. It was so sketchy when I got mine it took quite awhile to trust it was okay.

4. New Hampshire is scheduling 1b

Registration website opened 8am Friday-I worked both the phone and online and got in at 8:20...was told they would contact me to schedule in 3-5 days....Instead without fanfare they threw open scheduling later Friday and I didn't find out until after noon today-All sites got slammed and the soonest I could reserve a slot was February 26. I'm pissed-I followed all the rules and then they just threw out the procedures they set up thereby fucking those who paid attention and played by their rules...
