Everything points to a life-saving drug, said David Starnes, the Chief Nursing Officer at Memorial Hospital Pembroke.
Since early December, Memorial Hospital Pembroke has been offering monoclonal antibody treatments to patients who qualify under the Emergency Use Authorization. Its the same treatment former President Donald Trump received in October.
Memorial has both the Eli Lilly, or Casirivimab and Imdevimab, by Regeneron on hand. Of Memorials 270 patients who have received the infusion so far, only four have ended up needing hospitalization.

(15,876 posts)and are always trying to improve the healthcare of the people they cover. They also take care of their employees health, well being and pay a very fair living wage. After my time there I believe they try to do the right thing.

(90 posts)The real message is that there is a very narrow window to use this treatment, and a lot of people miss the window because they don't know about it or don't go to the dr. or ER in time.
