About, DeJoy.

He took so much from all Americans under the urging of D. J. Trump. He suppressed our voice by sabotaging the US mail service. He destroyed counting machines. These machines were not just moved out but taken apart and thrown in the trash. Drop boxes were removed for no explainable reason. How can anyone possibly and reasonably explain why? Yes, we know, but how do they explain this?

This was done during a pandemic with 100's of thousands of Americans dead. It was not safe for any of us to vote in person. The state made changes to our voting rules, they tried to keep us safe even as the GOP tried to make us less safe.

But wait, there is more to their cruelty. When DeJoy sabotaged the postal service he wasn't just taking away our vote, he took away speedy delivery of life saving medicines that many receive by mail. This during a pandemic. He caused many to have to fight against extra fees on late payments to CC companies and utilities because the mail was slower than the pony express. More angst for us. ALL DURING A PANDEMIC.

It doesn't just stop there. They also took away a very simple sweet form of communication from us during a pandemic, a hand written note or a small gift to a loved one that you have been unable to visit in eleven months. Sure you can tweet or FB. However nothing will ever replace a card and a hug and kiss...xoxoxo in a handwritten note. I got one of those cards the other day from my niece with a cute hand drawn picture from my 4 year old great niece. She also signed her name and her baby sisters. It is hanging on the refrigerator door now.

Love to all.

I come from a post office family, so I was outraged on behalf of my uncles.

Christmas cards are still coming in, and this week three checks arrived after a month in the mail. Supplies and gifts are stil missing. No, I don't blame the postal workers.

Apparently, removal of equipment requires a number of steps going up a chain of command before the removal can be approved. The fact that he is at the top of the chain shouldn’t invalidate procedures meant to evaluate proposed changes.

And DeJoy made no effort to retain working (and expensive) machines, instead breaking up and throwing out that USPS property, without internal reviews. The only reason he would do that, I believe, was to hinder the mission of the USPS, which sounds a lot like malfeasance and a possible crime.

Add to that the directives about overtime and leaving mail behind in order to get out the door, and it seems that DeJoy was not doing his job. He WAS, though, doing something that impeded mail delivery, which just so happened to occur when a larger than ever number of mail-in ballots were being used.

It adds up to a conspiracy with Trump to help Trump’s re-election effort, IMO. That sure as hell was not his job. Plenty of cause to remove him, and possible cause for criminal charges.

Mon Jan 25, 2021, 02:54 PM
Jan 2021

The real aim of their shit is to wipe out one of the biggest unions in the country.
Next is them trying to direct everything to private companies, Fedex and UPS.

Dejoy wasn't the only hit job. The Republicans passed legislation to bankrupt the USPS, like requiring them in the next few years to set aside enough money to finance Post Office retirees for the next fifty years. And allowing Fedex and UPS to dump all "expensive to deliver" last miles delivery mail and parcels off on the USPS to deliver.....

DeJoy was brought in to purely screw the election. Once the corrupted RepubliCONs realized that they hadn't planned for the mail in ballots in their scheme to steal the election, they had to do something immediately.

Protocols, Rules of Law, Constitution........were abandoned by the Corrupt RepubliCONs the day they corrupted the 2016 election.
They treated the U.S. Government like it was Fort Knox with no guards and no locks on the doors....Seriously.....

And now that Biden has been elected, they will amass a force to complicate and obstruct every last single thing the Dems try to do just like they did with Obama his last two years. The untold amount of damage the RepubliCONs in the Senate and Trump accomplished will take a decade or two to just get back to where it was before they obliterated it. What they did each day, will take years to reverse. And they had four years of days to do anything and everything they could to destroy Democracy, and become a
Corporate Fascist Tyranny...........

I have to laugh out loud when all these demonstrators yell about "antifa' without even understanding what that is or even having a clue to the definition of Fascism......

We are a long, long, long way from being out of this un-believeable tragedy............

We were shocked (as we would never have allowed that to happen) and then we remembered: We never got the bill because, you know, DeJoy broke the f'in P.O. . Then they wanted to hit us with a late charge. Fortunately, we have a reputable insurer who, not only took the time to call us, but also waived the late fee because they accepted our explanation.

I keep reading articles in our local paper that the mail is delayed because of the Christmas rush and many workers are out due to Covid. Maybe they are down workers, out from Covid, but the PO has always handled Christmas before. We are in this mess because of Trump and his lackey DeJoy. What did they think was going to happen when they removed the automated, speedy sorting machines? This is unacceptable!

Only one refused to accept my alibi.......Assholes, probably a RepubliCON owned corporation.

Not only did DeJoy remove the machines, he had them immediately trashed.
Not only was there the tsunami of ballots, but all the huge ton of Christmas mail.

The Grand Slam was that Fedex and UPS dumped a ton more packages on the USPS for delivery because they couldn't handle the load and with the packages being delivered by USPS it would appear that the USPS was screwed up, not them.

The fact that they can dump packages on the USPS for last mile delivery, especially in Rural areas is a farce. It is cheaper to dump them on the USPS than it is for Fedex and UPS trucks to deliver items all overs sparsely populated rural America......

DeJoy should be on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted Posters. Or better yet on the FBI's 500 most wanted, along with the RepubliCONs in the U.S. Senate and U.S. House, the entire Trump administration and Cabinet, and State Republican Governors. Along with all the worst 1000 insurrectionists at the Capitol.....

Most all have a narrow slot good for 1/4" letter riveted to where the swinging door and handle were. There are only 2 boxes with about 1" drop-from-car shutes on the other side, and one of those prohibits packages. The 4'x4'x4' mail drop boxes outside the main post office about the size of book drops are long gone.

USPS won't pickup from an address that they don't deliver to - not even priority mail. But they will stop traffic in the middle of the road to hand off mail to a car going in the opposite direction - if it's someone they know! I've seen it. I had to wait for the cargo transfer.

although I think what is likely to happen is reassignment and demotion, possibly an empty desk in a converted custodian's closet, no work, not much of a title, and negative prestige. It's what happens to bad Civil Service people who can't be brought up on charges and who will fight the firing procedure. Most of them soon quit and DeJoy certainly doesn't need a paycheck.

What they can't do is leave him where he is. That is unconscionable.

Voter fraud and stolen election lies and conspiracy theories is that all this was intentionally set up by Trump and DeJoy, with full knowledge that most Democrats would choose to vote by mail during a pandemic, whereas most Republicans would tend to vote in person. And so, from the very beginning, a kind of illusion was set up by Trump and his co-conspirator DeJoy that would give the appearance of an election that was originally his, but which was then stolen - the famous red mirage, followed by the blue surge. This is left out by so many, yet, it was probably the most important part of the election fraud scam that Trump himself set up. Trump has never accepted responsibility for anything in his life, so why on earth should he accept responsibility for this?
