General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsI wrote Leningrad Lindsey an email last December
It was regarding his outrageous claims of voter fraud.
Today, he or his office responded:
Dear Mr. xxxxxxx:
Thank you for contacting me with your comments and concerns regarding voting irregularities in the 2020 presidential election. The Senate Judiciary Committee continues to gather information on claims of fraudulent activity brought to its attention. My office will refer credible allegations to the Department of Justice if and when we receive them.
I believe that voting in a fair election process is one of our most fundamental rights as Americans. Please know that I will always fight to ensure your right is protected in this and in all future elections. As the Senate considers this issue I will keep your thoughts in mind.
As your United States Senator, my primary job is to understand and represent the interests of all South Carolinians. The opportunity to hear from you about the issues confronting our nation is not only essential to representative democracy, but allows me to better serve the people of South Carolina. We will not see eye-to-eye on every issue; however, I promise to always give your concerns the consideration they deserve.
I encourage you to visit my website http://lgraham.senate.gov as it will have information on the most recent activities before the U.S. Senate. You can also sign up for our e-mail newsletter, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube pages which will provide the latest information and updates on the major issues facing our state and our nation.
Thank you again for contacting me. I truly appreciate the opportunity to hear from you and am honored to have the opportunity to represent your interests in the U.S. Senate.
Sincerely,
Lindsey O. Graham
United States Senator

(5,477 posts)As we used to say when I was in the Air Force...go ahead and write to your Senators and Congresscritter.
It absolutely won't do any good, but at least you'll have a pen-pal.

Just wondering: Did they have a saying for "signing on with 'on-line' petitions?"
(Damned near as effective, I'm sure!)
