Brianna Keilar is taking Dr. Birx to the woodshed.
Dr. Birx is now seeking to rehabilitate herself after her lame tour of duty through the Trump buzzsaw.
Dr. Birx is the only one responsible for not standing up to Trumps lunacy. She failed the American people. And that is all there is to say.

(15,511 posts)Another good spanking by her!
That segment was great, focusing on Birx repeatedly not speaking up against outright lies and misinformation, but also praising Trump for positive characteristics he clearly didn't possess. And NOW Birx admits that her public praise of him didn't reflect what she witnessed herself.

(100,133 posts)In the corner of the screen it said Roll tape and like Jon Stewart showed the news industry how to do on The Daily Show, Brianna showed clip after clip after clip of Dr Birxs own words as her acquiescence with Trump just flushed 40 years of good reputation down the toilet.
Little tiny pieces. Dr Birx should just retire now.
Brianna Keilar is amazing.

(15,511 posts)... kept wondering back then why mainstream media wasn't doing the same.
Stewart had a great team around him, even pulling up old videos which contradicted someone that he was currently interviewing. Brutal, and so satisfying!

(15,511 posts)It wasn't just a few seconds.
The video from March, of Birx praising Trump for his attention to details, was one of many videos shown. Then more recent interviews of Birx which contradicted her public statement from that period.
That's just one of many examples in the segment.

(10,378 posts)I do this in conversation sometimes. I just have thoughts and think people can read my mind. I guess.
I watched the video and came away more frustrated with Birx than ever for her early on deference to kim jong don. That autocratic speak is terrifying coming from a "scientist".

(15,359 posts)thing. I think we all know. He actually took part in one of their meetings and heard someone telling how disinfectants and fluorescent light kill COVID on surfaces easily and reliably. He's such a dumbshit that he thought they could treat patients that way. That he was such a "Jenius" that only he could come up with a breakthrough like that which medical researchers had completely overlooked for for decades. She had to know where that came from.
