'Both sides' aren't the same

I find it inevitable that the MSM will start comparing Marjorie Taylor Green and Lauren Boebert to the Democratic squad members. As if the ladies are the same just on opposite sides of the political spectrum. Some commentator will ask ‘what’s the difference between them and the squad members’ when one of the right wing ladies says or does something stupid.....the difference is, the squad members are about trying to get policy done even if it’s something that is very liberal, they speak their minds and don’t back down from the racist or misogynistic bullies trying to silence them....on the other hand, these right wing women have nothing to add regarding policy, their whole stchick is just to disrupt and own the liberals, they are the bullies.....But unfortunately this will be the case of ‘both sides’ or ‘the extremes on both sides’, etc that the media loves to paint or the ‘whataboutism’ Republicans like to push

And always false, often ridiculously so.

Some of the worst offenders were people who were ostensibly on our side.

I definitely have my differences with AOC and others but to compare them with right wing loonies is ridiculous. The Squad’s positions on issues are borne out of a desire to help all people across the country. Boebert’s are not. Plus, I’ve never heard a Squad member embrace violent conspiracy theories or call for violence any way unlike the MAGA fascists.
