Capitol Police refused offers of backup from DC Metro Police. Frantic calls to the Pentagon from lawmakers, requesting National Guard backup, went ignored for hours. There will be a lot more detail in weeks to come.

That plan was already hatched before the November 3rd election, because Chump knew he was going to lose. After the election people were fired and replaced with Chump's toadies who were all itching to become part of the coup, once it occurred.

I read an article yesterday that while reviewing the security screwups on January 6th, the reviewing committee concluded it was sheer blind luck that far more people didn't die during the charge. Intentional blocks to calling up the National guard and backup police forces are being confirmed.

The Administration knew. Trump and his enablers encouraged the mayhem. Trump like Nero was delighted by the scene.

Which makes Nikki Haley's tweet from yesterday all the more reprehensible: 'Give the man (Trump) a break. We should move on.'

I don't think so.
