Minor infractions like Sedition, Incitement To Riot, Attempted Assassinations, Treason, Spreading LIES About Election Fraud, Pressure On State Election Officials To Overturn An Election, Colluding With Russia, Extortion Of Foreign Leaders, Children In Cages, Etc., Etc., Etc., Etc.......are not significant enough to warrant their concern.

I Fucking Hate Them! I see no way this country will be United anytime in the coming years, or possibly Ever. That was my first thought when I read the title of the original post, which I now understand to have been meant sarcastically. It's still an interesting story to contemplate, though.

and the Senate for four. If they had evidence of wrong-doing, they should have pressed the fucking charges them selves. Fuck them. Call them out early, and call them out often.

5. There is no easy answer to these issues. Politics seems to be a blood sport these days. Once you

are indoctrinated into a political philosophy it seems hard to accept anything other than your way of thinking. I relate it to religious indoctrination. I also think some of it has to do with herd mentality. The GOP is a party of NO - they have very few positive ideas and mostly focus on tearing down the Democratic Party as a way to gain political favor. That has been the case for decades (maybe forever).

Most of the people here in Texas use issues like abortion, guns, sexual orientation, small government, taxes to push their evil narrative and many take the bait.

After the last 4 years and the total mess that we find ourselves you have to be braindead or brainwashed to not recognize the GOP's constant lies, etc. State TV (FOX, OAN, etc) and right-wing talk radio doesn't help either.

The good news is that there are more good sensible people in the US than those in the GOP. They have to use gerrymandering, religion, voter suppression, and just plain nastiness to maintain their influence. I think it is a matter of time before none of that works anymore but what do I know?
