Maybe Rachel Maddow should be saying "Don't watch what they say they'll do, watch what they do."

I know that doesn't quite have the catchy ring that "Don't watch what they say, watch what they do" has, but that shorter version is flawed because saying something is doing something, especially when a leader says it. Trump vividly illustrated that when his words incited the violent insurrection that led to his second impeachment.
