(16,475 posts)Some of those covid vaccine ones really hit home for me, especially the one with all the people in like "for the lottery to get on the waitlist..."
My husband and are over 65, both with asthma, him with diabetes, and we're in a holding pattern for the vax like the people in that cartoon. We were excited tp sign up on a list with the county health department and found out all it's good for is getting email notification of appointment slots that are already filled up when I click on the link. And this is in a state where the rollout seems to be relatively well organized.
SO tired of hearing public officials urge people to get vaccinated. How about actually, you know, making the vaccine, what's that word? Oh yeah: AVAILABLE. I'll bet that would boost the vaccination rate! As it is, I feel like I'm sitting with an empty plate in front of me, being scolded for not eating.
Yes, I know it's all the Dump Chump's fault things are so messed up, but that doesn't make it any less frustrating.
