Let's not get too cocky here.

We traditionally do terrible during mid term elections, especially where we hold the wh. Clinton and obama both got hammered during midterms and lost houses.

It CAN happen again. We actually lost house seats in 2020, in part due to dumb statements by some and in part due to gerrymandering and voter suppression.

We could actually lose both houses in 22. Despite all the rosy forecasts, control is NOT a sure thing. Remember susan collins? Remember we were supposed to gain 20 house seats?

Roll up the sleeves, empty the wallet, and get out and organize. Or democracy is not safe yet.

when they spew bullshit. We have to hammer them when they do that.

I think there are more good people in the USA than assholes. We (good people) have to all get on the same side here.

I do think we have one potential advantage, which I’ve said in other posts, that I believe 2022 may very well be a referendum on how Biden handles the pandemic. If everything goes well, I think that adds to our chances.
