This tells me that the faux narrative that they're trying to gin up, about Biden being a corrupt, senile, frail, far-left communist is FAILING, even with THEIR half-wit audience. A hundred bucks says Cotton will be the nominee in 2024.

The ironic thing about the insurgency is that nobody EXPECTED those jackoffs to overrun the Capitol. They thought there'd be a big protest on the outside of the building, while Cruz and Hawley 'waved the bloody shirt' INSIDE the buidling, and it would be a fantastic photo-op to keep the 'we were robbed' grievance going until the next election cycle.

But it didn't work out that way. Instead, we've got B-roll footage of a bunch of saditionist thugs bashing police men over the head with flag poles; and Trump, Cruz, and especially Hawley (with his white power salute to the mob) going down in history as the official INSTIGATORS.

Cotton, on the other hand, made the obligatory 'this is un-American' tweet, and his ass is covered. Other than that, he's got the required extremist policies, and he's a decorated combat veteran. That's most important to the fascist mind, that's fascinated by military idolatry.

I think the Democratic Party knows this also, which is the reason they started attacking Cotton with the 'he wasn't a real Ranger' thing NOW. It's been known for years that he wasn't a real Army Ranger. They just kept that fact in their pocket for years, to pull out in an emergency. The fact that they're pulling it out now tells me this is their 'break glass' moment for Cotton. Start muddying him now, before he even gets CLOSE to the Republican nomination.
