Lawmakers push for 'Donald Trump Day' in Ohio

Lawmakers in Ohio want to make June 14 “Donald Trump Day.”

Republican Reps. Jon Cross and Reggie Stoltzfus proposed the holiday in an email to their colleagues in the state’s House of Representatives, according to Cincinnati.com. The congressmen are reportedly hoping to find co-sponsors for the bill.

Trump was born June 14, 1946.

While Trump has never lived in the Buckeye State, the Florida man is popular in Ohio, where he won the state’s 18 electoral votes in 2016 and 2020. No presidential candidate in Ohio history has matched the 3.1 million votes Trump got in November.
